Cookie Dough Baked Protein Oats


1 cup old fashioned oats

1/2 tsp baking powder

Pinch of sea salt

1 dessert spoonful of vanilla protein powder 

1 small/medium banana 

2 tbsp nut butter 

1 cup almond milk

1/2 tbsp sugar free maple syrup

1 tbsp dark chocolate chips


  1. Preheat oven to 180C
  2. In a blender, combine oats, baking powder, sea salt, banana, nut butter, almond milk and maple syrup. Blend until smooth and creamy.
  3. Save 3 tbsp of batter, and pour the remainder into an oven safe baking dish. Stir in dark chocolate chips until covered.
  4. Add in 1 tbsp of nut butter to the centre, then pour the reserved batter on top. Sprinkle with additional chocolate chips.
  5. Bake for 30-35 mins. This will result in a gooey center. Bake for an additional 10 mins if you want a more solid centre. 
  6. Allow to cool for a few minutes, then enjoy warm!
